Bollywood actress Rani Mukherji is all set to be honoured with an award for her gesture to highlight the cause of safety, security and protection of the girl child and women in the movie ‘Mardaani’ directed by Pradeep Sarkar. The actress in the movie was seen playing the role of a cop.
Rani was selected by the panel of jurist and experts have selected the ‘Black’ actress for National Award for the Best Representation of the Cause of Safety, Security, and Protection for Women and Girl Child by the Institute for Gender Justice.
